Fossil Finding in the Badlands

  3. Hey Walker,
    Yes, that is the state of your birth. The northwestern part of it is entirely different than the Platte Valley. It has antelopes, badlands, Bighorn sheep, the occasional cougar, and lots of cows and cowboys.

    The skull was from an earlier season. Ones we found this time will be "prepared" by professionals. Most will not be as complete as that one.

    Glad you like the pic. I really enjoyed that field work.
